PROBLEM: PUBLIC TRANSPORT WHEREABOUTS

So we are just standing at some spot, waiting for public transport to arrive but the problem is that we don't know if it's coming. And what's more, we are not even sure if its en route to our desired location.

It would be cool to know before hand what's coming our way and where it's headed.
